About Little Ripper Education
Who We Are
Little Ripper Education was created to support the early childhood education sector through high-quality, Australian-made stories and learning resources. We are passionate about promoting locally produced content and proudly support Australian authors, illustrators and educators.
Our focus is on creating meaningful resources that reflect Australian children, communities and experiences, while supporting educators and families in delivering rich, engaging early learning opportunities.
EYLF-Aligned Learning
All Little Ripper Education books, resources and activities are thoughtfully designed to align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) V2.0.
Our content supports children’s learning through the core EYLF principles of Belonging, Being and Becoming, and directly links to the five EYLF Learning Outcomes:
- Children have a strong sense of identity
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world
- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators
Each resource clearly identifies the EYLF outcomes it supports, helping educators and families confidently connect stories and activities to curriculum planning and learning documentation.
Created by Educators
All Little Ripper Education resources are developed by qualified educators with real-world early childhood experience.
Our educator-led approach ensures that each book and activity is:
- Developmentally appropriate
- Practical and easy to implement
- Grounded in play-based learning
- Purposefully designed to extend learning
We understand the realities of early learning environments and create resources that are flexible, engaging and meaningful for both educators and children.
Learning Beyond the Story
At Little Ripper Education, learning doesn’t stop at the last page of a book.
Our extended learning activities are designed to deepen children’s understanding and embed learning through hands-on, play-based experiences. These may include:
- Creative activities such as drawing and colouring-in
- Construction and problem-solving tasks
- Self-awareness and identity-building experiences
- Belonging and connection-focused activities
- Opportunities for communication, reflection and imagination
These activities support children to explore ideas, build confidence, strengthen relationships and engage with learning in meaningful ways.
Supporting Educators and Families
Little Ripper Education is designed to support both educators and families as partners in children’s learning.
Our resources provide:
- Clear links to EYLF learning outcomes
- Simple, accessible activities for use at home or in early learning settings
- Opportunities for shared learning, discussion and connection
By offering high-quality, educator-created Australian resources, we aim to support confident teaching, engaged learning and positive early childhood experiences for every child.
